Our Team

Task Force Mentor was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2022 by a group of young American Service Members who were passionate about helping students of Military Families achieve academic success. Inspired by their own experiences and the challenges they faced while navigating the path to higher education, they recognized the need for support and guidance for students of military families. Many military-connected students face unique challenges, such as frequent moves and deployments, that can make it difficult to access the resources and support they need to succeed in academics. With this in mind, our team set out to create a program that would provide free one-on-one mentorship and tutoring to students of Military Families. In order to do this, our team started with three goals: establish partnerships with student organizations in colleges and universities, recruit and train a team of dedicated mentors, and develop a comprehensive program that would meet the needs of military-connected students. After many months of planning and preparation, our organization was officially launched in 2022. Since then, we have successfully worked with students, providing them with the support and guidance they need to achieve their educational goals. Our founders and mentors are dedicated to helping our students succeed and committed to positively impacting the lives of those we serve.

Our mission is to provide academic and mentoring support to students of U.S. Military Service Members, helping them to achieve their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

We are dedicated to empowering the next generation. Specifically, we strive to help students of Military Families succeed in academics and in life. Our belief is that every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, should have the opportunity to pursue higher education. To this end, we offer free online one-on-one mentorship and tutoring to students of Military Service Members. Our mentors are dedicated, passionate individuals who are committed to providing personalized support and guidance to help students navigate the often complex and confusing process of applying to college and succeeding in school. Our mission is to empower military-connected students to take control of their educational journey and achieve their goals. We believe that by providing access to high-quality mentorship and support, we can help students overcome the barriers that may stand in their way and pave the way for a bright and successful future.
